2 Days Queen Elizabeth tour

Experience this 2 day Uganda tour of Queen Elizabeth National Park’s fantastic game drive to meet the best of Uganda’s big game and rare water wildlife on the Irungu boat cruise on kazinga channel.


Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Our representative will pick you up from a place of your choosing for example your hotel or eco-lodge. If you choose to come straight from the airport to Irungu Forest Safari Lodge, you will have stayed right in the middle of the park and perhaps even seen some animals already through the night. Depending on what time you arrive, you may be taken to view the traditional salt industries and mining methods and a quick tour around the Crater Lake region.

Dinner and overnight at either Irungu forest lodge/ Mweya safari lodge / Enganzi Lodge / Bush Lodge / Katara Lodge.

Day 2: Game viewing drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel

The second day kicks off with an early morning game drive in the main camp at Mweya peninsular which is attractively positioned to separate Lake George from Lake Edward by Kazinga channel. This is where you will view jackals, Bushbucks, forest hogs, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, lions, the beautiful Uganda Kob, bush pigs and many more animals.

You will then retire to your lodge for late breakfast, relax with alternative activities (depending on where you stay) and wait for lunch.

In the afternoon on this day, you will head out for a Irungu launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, with lots of beautiful bird viewing, and a game like buffaloes, hippos, Elephants, crocodiles, among others.

Dinner and overnight at either Irungu forest lodge/ Mweya safari lodge / Enganzi Lodge / Bush Lodge / Katara Lodge.
